Good flavour
The beef tasted good but it lost so much weight when cooked i didn't like the purchase . Im very familiar with salt beef and often cure my own. I understand how to cook it and the importance of temperature and followed the well understood procedure. It lost almost half its weight when prepared I was shocked and disappointed.This has never happened before .

Excellent traditional roast
I haven't roasted a beef joint for sometime, as the flavour and composition of many supermarket joints mean it is often dry, tough and flavourless, but they do pot roast more successfully. However, keen to cook a more traditional roast once again I bought a topside joint from Derek Kelly. It was absolutely delicious and so reminiscent of the Sunday roasts my mum made 40 years ago! It roasted so easily and filled the kitchen with a beautiful aroma. This will now be a regular feature of Sundays

Christmas Day Roast Beef
Considering I had never roasted a sirloin of beef before, I followed the instructions from the enclosed leaflet and on your website, and the joint ended up beautifully cooked. Tender and juicy, cooked to medium, and enjoyed by the whole family. Definitely would buy again.
